Brewster Walk ’17 to feature Yarn, Josh Shilling, Mission in the Rain

The third annual Brewster Walk Craft Beer Festival & Concerts will take place Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, in uptown Martinsville, Virginia, in front of the historic Rives Theatre, on the 200 block of East Church Street.

The event will feature live performances from Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival perennial fan favorite YarnMission in the Rain (a Jerry Garcia Band tribute set) and the Jason Springs Band of Danville as well as more than 60 craft beers. Special guest and Bassett-native Josh Shilling of Mountain Heart fame will sit-in with Yarn as well as Mission in the Rain.

Gates open for VIPs at 1 p.m. and to GA ticket holders at 2 p.m. The music will end at 6:45 (last call) and the beer festival will officially conclude at 7 p.m.

There are a limited number of VIP tickets, which cost $55 in advance ($60 at the gates). VIP ticket holders also get to enter the Rives Theatre for special tastings, wine and real bathrooms. They also will receive the commemorative glass, unlimited samples and all three concerts.

GA tickets cost $30 in advance ($35 at the gates) and will include the commemorative Brewster Walk sampling glass, up to 20 3-oz.samples of craft beer, admission to the event beginning at 2 p.m. and the concerts. Designated Driver tickets will cost $25 each and garner 2 p.m. entry to the event and the concerts. The event is open to patrons age 21 years and older.
